Karting champion Ashton Woon is a ten-year-old boy. He competitively races go-karts across North America. He has been doing this since he was five years old.

2022 Racing Review

2022 has been a dominating year for Ashton Woon. As of October 2022 Ashton has taken the green flag in 35 races resulting in:

• 9 x 1st Place Finishes
• 23 Podiums
• 29 Top 10’s
• Top 3 in 3 different National Championships
• Winner of the biggest toughest Championship in North America USPKS (United States Pro Kart Series)

2022 was Ashton’s second year of racing across the United States in multiple racing series. Whether it be a new track or a track with experience, Ashton has been the model of consistency with a great pace every weekend.

The year started with the SKUSA Winter Series, where he finished second in the Championship with three P2 finishes in the four-race series.

Challenge of the Americas, Ashton stepped up to race Mini and finished third in the Championship. He was battling to win the Championship, but two unfortunate issues hurt the points out of our control.

In March, the USPKS National Championship began in Orlando. One of Ashton’s goals was to win the USPKS Championship this year. This Championship is the one to win with North America’s deepest, toughest fields. A total of 66 competitors over six races, and Ashton won three of them (crossed the line for a 4th win but got a penalty for IR), finished P2 in two and P3 in one race. He dominated all year long. This series typically has 30-40+ racers every race.

Ashton accomplished another one of his goals this year, winning the IAME Grand National Championship at GoPro Motorplex in NC a few weeks ago.

Sponsorship Opportunities for 2023

2023 we look to push even harder and continue to race the most prominent series and travel to Italy to run some WSK and Italian Championship races (budget permitting). Recently the INEX Legends series lowered the minimum age from 12 to 10, so we plan to race Legends for the first time in 2023. They are 1250lbs race cars with 125hp and 5spd transmissions.
