Just had surgery a week ago on my arm and haven’t driven since TX but raced the big kart this weekend at Track House. Was up front and fast running purple laps in two of three sessions and was second fastest in the third. Despite getting moved and sent several times and run over (literally) I still finished P4 one off the box in round 3. Round 4 I was smashed in to and crashed at the start resulting in a DNF. Another strong weekend in Junior. Thank you @bbs_race_engines for the power and my dad for making sure my kart is always ready to race 🏁

Some clips from the race weekend. Hard work pays off. I’ve been burning laps in a full size for many months prepping for this. Two KA100 races, two podiums. The KA jr field is always very tough and a big field. Was fun running the switch back layout. Was P3 in warm up. P7 in Qually. Won the pre-final. P2 in the final 🏁🏆 Next up USPKS
Second ever race in the full size at Track House with one of the most competitive fields. Drove great all day. Won the Pre-final. Lead every lap of the final but made a small mistake last lap and finished P2. Two for two on podiums in KA100 Jr. I’ve been training in the full size since last summer in a 32hp Rotax so making this transition has been 👌Thank you to my Dad for always wrenching and making sure my kart is dialed (even though he missed on air in the final). Winners! My dad and I played in our first ever bowling tournament today. It was a Youth/Adult event with three individual games, three baker games and a step ladder finals. We made it to the top four teams in fourth so we had to match play the 3rd seed, 2nd seed and 1st. We ended up winning all three matches and won the tournament! Picked up some scholarship money, prize money and a trophy 🏆 Super fun to compete in something new. We didn’t think we would even make it to the final four.

The first national championship of 2024 is done. Podium’d three years in a row here at Homestead. We chased issues every round and it wasn’t smooth but ran up front every race and ended fourth in the championship. Not bad but could have been so much better.

Worth a post and swipe left! We first met @connorzilisch Jan 2021 when we started our national racing (first pic). Today at 17 he just won the Rolex Daytona 24hr in LMP2 with his team on his first try! He’s been a great friend and coach from time to time when time permits (last pic from a few months ago). Congrats. So awesome and wear that watch proudly 👌
Five days in FL in 20seconds 😬 We had sunshine, clouds, rain, heat, cold, grip, no grip. It was a wild five days on track. Rounds 3/4 in a few weeks 🏁
